PASADENA - Howard J. Pohlman, 89, of South Pasadena, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital.

Howard was born in Batesville, Indiana. He moved to the area in 1988 from Lancaster, California. Howard was a WWII Army Air Force Veteran, a retired member of the Association of California School Administrators, and St. Petersburg Yacht Club. He loved golfing, fishing, camping and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruthellen; nephew, Tony (wife-Thania), St. John; and grandchildren, Liza and Lexi.
Services will be held at St. John Beach Memorial Chapel, St. Pete Beach, to contact call (727)360-5577.
