John Thomas Farley passed away at his residence April 6, at the age of 73. John was born Feb. 8, 1939, in Hartshorne, Okla., to Alva and Jeanne (Morgan) Farley.

Following graduation from high school, John enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, beginning a career that would last 22 years. John was honorably discharged Dec. 21, 1977, having attained the rank of Tech Sergeant. While in the Air Force, John met Doris Scheitel and the two were married 50 years ago at March Air Force Base in Riverside, Calif. John and Doris have been residents of Lake Havasu City for the past nine years.
John is survived by his loving wife, Doris; sons, Joe A. Farley, of Black Canyon City, Ariz., and Wayne E. Farley, of Lake Havasu City; brother, William Farley, of Wildomar, Calif.; and sister, Mary Ann Archer, of Simla, Colo.
Interment will take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo. at a later date.
