Favorite Memory:
Whitewashing the big "D" in my freshman year, the
Roller-rink at the South Base, being the soda-jerk at the
teen club (remember my too-strong lime-Rickeys?), marching
in Mr. Thompsons band, living in "Wherry" housing,
managing the basketball team & getting my only "D"
letter, and more.
Biography
My Dad moved to Edwards from Oxnard when I was only 4; we
stayed until my freshman year at DHS. Moved off-base (during
the military buildup) to Lancaster and graduated there in
'66. Attended UCSB, AVJC, and graduated in 1971 with a BSEE
from CSU Long Beach. Have worked all the rest of my life as
a computer software engineer. Married now with two daughters.
My best memories were the swim parties at the teen club, marching
in the school band, and playing Dawn Dodson's oboe solo at
8th grade graduation when she got sick with the chicken pox.

Hanging out with
my best buddy Jerry Wise at the Teen Club & the "Flush"
Playing one on one basketball with Terry Moe. Winning the
Conference Golf Championship as a Freshman. Playing golf with
John Rogers, Jerry Wise,Terry Gunn, Mike Statz,Mike Dingus.
My first car, a green 51 Chevy that I later sold to Mike Dingus.
That wild party at my parents house where Jerry Wise, Terry
Moe, Vic Sorlie & Yours Truly first learned about the
evils of alcohol and the MP's! Walking the cement fences around
the homes late at night.
Biography
I would have graduated
from Desert High in 1966, but moved to Anchorage Alaska in
Nov. of 1964. Graduated from West Anchorage High in 1966.
It took me just two terms to graduate from college...Johnson's
& Nixon's terms...1974, University of Central Florida
(Orlando). My two sisters, Cathy & Sandi(Free Spirit)
live in Orlando. My parents are gone. I'm 52, Employed as
a Territory Manager for the Ben Hogan Golf Company, Spalding
Sports Worldwide & Etonic Golf for the past 26 years.
Married since 71 to Patty (School teacher) & have lived
in Royal Palm Beach Florida since 1977. One son (that I know
of) Brandon, 25, recently married, & is a Senior Computer
Programmer for Motorola in Boynton Beach Florida. I've kept
in touch with Jerry Wise & John Rogers over the Years.
My passion is still Golf! I recently had a brief reunion with
Terry Gunn & John Rogers. John lives here in West Palm
Beach. I value my experiences, memories & friendships
of my time at Edwards 1960-1964. I did go back to Bakersfield
College in 1966 & 1967 & visited Edwards on the weekends.
I would love to go back to Edwards & play the Muroc Lake
golf course one last time! May the Force be with you.
